So, are you one of the beginner programmer who turned to Linux? You must have learned Qbasic in your school days and may still want to code it on Linux too. Then, let’s start the installation on Linux.
Well I tried what you suggested and still no joy so I uninstalled zone alarm extreme still no joy by this time I was ready to throw the towel in but then I thought one last try so I did a system restore to a point before I uninstalled my original copy then I kicked it up and enterd my new serial that Id got from you and you would not beleive it it works fine I've got my virtual drives working. Can't install Alcohol 120 on Windows 7, it starts of the install by wanting to install SPTD drivers, say it needs to reboot Windows which it does, upon reboot when Alcohol restarts it wants to reinstall SPTD drivers and does this every single time. I searched the registry and removed anything with 'ALCOHOL' in it. I then tried to reinstall the program and it will not install. I get the message 'You Must Reboot After Previous Operation' I have deleted the program. I have removed everything I am aware of from the registry.
The installation process is simple and you just need to pay attention on the additional software that Alcohol 120% offers to install to your computer and restart your computer when you are prompted to. You can avoid unwanted software by choosing “Custom installation”. Alcohol 120% is compact and powerful at the same time.

Open the terminal and start:
Code: sudo apt-get install dosbox
After that, you’ll have to download the QBASIC’s required files from here and place it into any directory that is easily reachable from terminal. Now,
Open DosBox from terminal.
Code: dosbox
In the DosBox window, write the following codes;
mount c /path/to/qbasic/folder/
